I'm still not entirely sure what came over the sheriff, to leave me in charge while he was away.
I'm a little scared that I handled the whole thing with Kapp, about as poorly as possible ... well, maybe not as poorly as possible. I could have killed him. He seems to have taken an interest in me and my roommates. Obviously, for completely different reasons.
I wonder, if he is gifted in the manner that Rosette was.
I suspect that whatever this is, he's not going to let it rest... and any form of civil conversation is not possible.
So he'll stay in jail till the sheriff can figure out what to do with him, of course after Lola has a few words with him... The sheriff that is, no Kapp.
